One Amadi Alozie has allegedly hacked his mother to death in Umudosi, a community in Obingwa LGA of Abia State.

It’s gathered the Umudosi indigene attacked his little son and chopped off his genital, causing the boy to yelp in pain which attracted Mrs Alozie, the mother of the suspect, who dashed in to know why her grandson was screaming and crying.
But on noticing that his mother had discovered his diabolical deed, the suspect was alleged to have immediately drawn a cutlass which he used to inflict deep cuts on his mother, which resulted in her death.
The son who was attacked by his father has been rushed to the hospital.
After attacking his mother, Amadi Alozie tried to flee but was nabbed by youths of the community, who handed him over to the police for investigation and prosecution.
The unfortunate and unsettling development has plunged the community into agony and uncertainty as locals wondered what pushed the young man into such crimes.
The Public Relations Officer of Abia State Police Command, ASP Maureen Chinaka, confirmed the incident saying: ” We have such reports at Eastern Ngwa Divisional Headquarters. However, the victim has been rushed to the hospital, the suspect is in custody, investigation is ongoing.”
