NSCDC Trains 55 Private Guards Personnel in Gombe State

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Gombe State Command, has trained 55 private guards from nine security companies, including A.

Kolo Security Guard LTD, Ampu Security Guard LTD, and Silver Guard Security LTD.

The training, facilitated by the NSCDC’s Private Guards Companies department, aims to enhance professionalism and discipline in the private security sector.

State Commandant Gyama Gyawiya urged the trainees to uphold high standards, respect human rights, and act as ambassadors for the industry.

He reminded them that the NSCDC oversees licensing and supervision of private security companies under the 2003 and 2007 NSCDC Act.

The training is part of the NSCDC’s ongoing efforts to ensure professionalism, following previous initiatives that saw 30 private guard companies licensed to support security efforts in Nigeria.
