Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen, has called on Nigerians to embrace hope and unity for 2025.
In a statement issued Tuesday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Abdullahi Krishi, the Speaker expressed optimism about the country’s future. He encouraged Nigerians to remain steadfast and support their leaders at all levels.
Speaker Abbas acknowledged the challenges facing the nation but highlighted the ongoing efforts by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to improve living conditions in the coming year.
“Congratulations to Nigerians as we welcome the Year 2025,” Abbas stated. “We have reasons to rejoice, having successfully completed 2024. I am optimistic that 2025 will bring positive changes, thanks to the committed efforts of President Tinubu’s administration.”
He urged Nigerians to maintain a spirit of brotherhood and unity, emphasizing that these values are essential for overcoming national challenges.
The Speaker also reassured citizens that the 10th House of Representatives would prioritize their welfare in 2025. He pledged to address socio-economic issues and deliver impactful policies under his leadership.
“Let us remain hopeful and united as one people,” Abbas urged. “Together, we will overcome obstacles and build a stronger nation.”
