Gubernatorial Election: APC Determined to Take Power from APGA in Anambra

Abdullahi Ganduje

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has vowed to unseat the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the upcoming Anambra governorship election. The party’s National Working Committee (NWC) has promised full support to achieve this goal.

APC National Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje, made this known while addressing party stakeholders, including governorship aspirants and members, in Awka.

During his visit, he also inaugurated the party’s new secretariat complex in the state capital.

Ganduje emphasized the need to restore the South-East’s influence in national politics.

He assured party members that the APC headquarters, in partnership with the current administration, would provide essential logistics and strategies to secure victory in the November 8 election.

“We appreciate your commitment and determination to win this election,” he said.

He expressed concern over the political landscape in the South-East, where four different parties control the five states. He stressed the importance of aligning the region with the national ruling party.

“We must ensure the South-East is well-connected to the center,” he added.

Ganduje highlighted the Igbo people’s strong presence in business across the country, calling them natural nationalists. He assured them that the APC national secretariat would collaborate with the Presidency to integrate the South-East into mainstream politics.

He also reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to stabilizing the economy and ensuring security for all citizens.
