- Ganduje was officially named FAAN board chairman days after stepping down as APC national chairman last week.
- Ganduje cited health concerns and personal matters as the reason for his sudden resignation from APC leadership.
The former governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has been appointed as the chairman of the board of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
The appointment was announced in Abuja during the formal inauguration of the newly constituted FAAN board members.
Ganduje’s appointment comes just 13 days after he resigned as the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress.
He had stepped down from the party’s leadership position last week, citing health and personal reasons.
The former APC chairman has now been replaced by Ali Bukar Dalori.
