At least seven people have reportedly lost their lives in a fatal auto crash on the Damaturu-Maiduguri highway in Yobe State.
Several others also sustained varying degrees of injuries in the accident that happened near Warsala village in the Potiskum Local Government Area of the State.

“Seven lives were lost, while others sustained various degrees of injuries. The accident happened as a result of overspeeding by both drivers,” one eyewitness told Daily Trust.
