Mr Yinka Oyebode, has been congratulated by the Ekiti state council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) on his appointment as Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to Gov. Biodun Oyebanji.
Mr Rotimi Ojomoyela, the chairman in a statement released on Monday in Ado-Ekiti, said that the appointment proves the diligence, hard work and professional conduct of Oyebode, having served twice in the same capacity.
The chairman, however prayed that God gives him the means to carry out the job effectively.
Ojomoyela also appreciated Gov. Oyebanji for the opportunity accorded Oyebode to serve.
Furthermore, he assured Oyebode that NUJ would give him all the necessary support and encouragement to succeed.
Oyebode’s appointment as Chief Press Secretary was announced on Sunday evening immediately after the swearing-in of the new Governor.
