Uche Jombo Calls for law against governors making senate their retirement plan

Nollywood actress Uche Jombo has called for law against governors retiring to senate after their service. She shared the post on social media where she said that some governors think the red chambers is a retirement home

While some governors are currently celebrating victories as they emerge as new senators, actress Uche Jombo has called for law against governors becoming law makers in the red chamber.

Jombo shared her thought on social media and stated that it is as though the senate has become a retirement plan for governors as many of them just think to run for seats the moment they finish serving as governors.

In the Nigerian constitution, there is no law against a governor running for national assembly and over the years many have moved from the state house to the national assembly with no hitches.

However, Uche Jombo reflects the frustration of many other Nigerians who seem to be tired of having to recycle old leaders on different levels.
