Man who trekked to celebrate Buhari in 2015 ‘seeks assistance over limb pains’

Do you remember the man who said he trekked from Gombe to Abuja  celebrate President Muhammadu Buhari’s victory in 2015? His name is Dahiru Buba and he is currently seeking financial assistance to treat limb pains.

WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that Dahiru Baba is a native of Dakku local government area of Gombe state.

Dahiru said he only got a certificate for his feat in 2015.

He appealed to Inuwa Yahaya, governor of Gombe, and other stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to come to his aid.

“Since the time I trekked, the limb pain has been growing by the day. I am appealing to my governor, Governor Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State and the party leadership to help me look for medical assistance, Dahiru reportedly said.

Explaining how life is becoming unbearable for him as the pain persists, Buba added that the hardship is such that he cannot even pay his children’s school fees.

Buhari’s victory was widely celebrated in 2015 and different people said they marched to Abuja from different parts of the country.
