Davido reacts amid heavy backlash over signee, Logos Olori’s new music video
On Sunday, famous singer, Davido reacted amid te intense criticisms he is facing for a music video released by his signee, Logos Olori, titled ‘Jayelo’.
The video sparked controversy as it was perceived as insensitive and disrespectful to Muslims.
In the music video, Logos Olori is shown on top of a building, singing and making prayer gestures, while Muslims are seen below engaging in their religious prayers. The depiction offended some Muslims, leading to widespread criticism on social media.

On Monday, Tacha Akide, a reality TV star disclosed the reason behind her decision not to join the All-stars edition of the show.
Tacha in a Twitter exchange with Toke Makinwa and Mike Edwards revealed what transpired between herself and the BBNaija management.
According to her, the BBNaija management declined to pay her handsomely to appear on the show, as her asking price had increased beyond their usual budget.

The famous author contributed his voice to the viral video of several incensed teenagers protesting against a music video that Davido endorsed because they felt it was disrespectful to their religion on the streets of Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State.
Soyinka provided justifications for why Davido shouldn’t apologise to them in a statement made public on Tuesday.

The ‘Jaye Lo’ music video, which featured scenes of some persons praying and dancing in a building which has the semblance of a mosque, was, however, found offensive by some Muslims, who described it as disrespect to their religion.

Adejobi revealed that the skit maker, in the skits posted on July 20 and 24, used police uniforms in a manner that was deemed “disrespectful and derogatory.”
