The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has announced that it has begun recruitment for various employment categories throughout its institutions.
The community has declared on its official website that competent people from ECOWAS member countries are welcome to apply for positions in a variety of industries.
It added that available occupations include administration, finance, trade, infrastructure, health, telecommunications, legal services, and security.
Office assistants, programme assistants, accountants, legal officers, political advisers, and higher positions such as directors and principle officers are all open for applications.
It further claimed that the application procedure will be open from April 1, 2026 until April 30, 2026, and that only shortlisted individuals would be contacted.
WITHIN NIGERIA learned that hat only persons aged 35 and up should apply for junior positions, and those aged 45 and up for professional positions.

Eligibility: Any interested applicant must be sure that he or she is a citizen of an ECOWAS member state.
He or she must meet the specific requirements for the role, such as age, education, and work experience.
He or she must visit the official ECOWAS website (ecowas.int) or job portals like MyJobMag to explore available positions.
He or she must prepare his or documents such as CV, cover letter, and relevant certificates.
He or she must follow the application instructions for each vacancy, which may involve emailing documents or filling out an online form.
