Stephanie Busari gets Emmy Nomination for Lekki Tollgate investigation

Bureau Head of CNNAfrica Stephanie Busari has been nominated for two Emmy Awards, for her report on the Lekki Tollgate investigation.

Proud reporter, Busari who shared the happy news with her followers on her social media handle said she was stunned when she found out that she had been nominated for not one, but two Emmys.

Stephanie Busari wrote “I was speechless when I heard the news that our Lekki Tollgate investigation was nominated. My mouth literally dropped open!!! It really is a huge honour for an important body of work that shed light on the terrible events of October 20, 2020. A date forever etched in the nation’s memory.”

The Emmy is considered one of the four major entertainment awards in the United States, the others being the Grammy (for music), the Oscar (Academy Award) (for film), and the Tony (for theatre).
