Farida Fasasi, wife of late legendary musician Sound Sultan, has raised the alarm about her husband’s social media accounts which unknown hackers have invaded.
Farida took to her Instagram page on Saturday afternoon, August 14, 2021, to share a disclaimer post after her late husband’s social media accounts started asking innocent followers for money.
She advised people to be careful, as the deceased family has no control over the social media pages again.
“Hello everyone, kindly disregard any communication from all @soundsultan‘s social media accounts. The accounts have been hacked by scammers sending messages to innocent people to solicit funds.”
“Please, the family has no control over the accounts. Let’s be watchful. Cybercrime is at an all-time high. Thank you so much for your support all the way..you would be informed when we have control over the accounts. Farida,” she wrote.
Iconic singer Sound Sultan died on July 11, 2021, after battling Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma. He was buried same day in the United States, according to Islamic rites.
