American Rapper Nicki Minaj hails her former boss, Lil Wayne, credits him for shaping her career and ultimately changing her life forever.
According to the rap queen, she was a no-body until Lil Wayne took her up.
At her most recent performance, she revealed this to an enthralled audience as she welcomed Wayne to the stage.
She bowed three times for Wayne, calling him “the best rapper alive.”
Nicki Minaj said:
“Make some noise for the man that single-handedly changed my life.
“I am nobody without you. I don’t give a damn how long I’ve been in this game, I think you are the best rapper alive. Thank you for changing my life.”
However, Lil Wayne stated that he would agree with her that he is the best rapper alive, “but there is a certain person by the name of Nicki Minaj” who is greater than him.
Nicki Minaj began her career with Lil Wayne’s record label, Young Money, with Drake.

In response, Nicki Minaj’s verified X handle said, “Abeg, sign up where it says (if you don’t see your city) so that your city/country will be there when I get to Africa.”
