American model denies involvement in alleged Davido photo scandal


In the wake of a purported leaked photo involving Nigerian singer Davido and an unidentified woman, American model Bonita Maria has vehemently denied her involvement in the controversy.

The photo, which surfaced on social media, sparked a flurry of reactions, particularly from Nigerian netizens expressing disappointment towards the singer.

The photo which surfaced online depicted Davido in an intimate embrace with an American model, triggering widespread speculation and criticism directed at both parties involved.

Nigerians took to social media to express their disapproval, citing concerns about the singer’s fidelity to his wife.

In response to the mounting backlash, Bonita Maria addressed the accusations leveled against her in a now-deleted post on her social media page.

The model adamantly asserted that she was not the woman depicted in the controversial photo alongside Davido.

She implored Nigerians to cease their harassment, emphasizing her complete lack of association with the musician.

In her statement, which has since been removed from public view, Bonita Maria clarified that she has no personal connection to Davido and has never crossed paths with him.

She explained that her earlier social media activity pertaining to the situation was merely a form of lighthearted jesting, devoid of any substantive involvement with the singer.

In her words;

“All of you Nigerians roaches need to leave me alone,” Bonita Maria declared in her now-deleted post. “I’m not even the one f*cking with that man! I was trolling this Davido situation has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with me and I do not know him at all, never met him you guys were harassing me so l gave y’all something to see.”
