Video: How lady stranded at Lagos airport, Fehintola travelled to Oman

Family members of a Nigerian lady identified as Funmilayo Victoria Fehintola, who was found roaming about at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos have narrated how she travelled to Oman for greener pasture.

According to her elder sister, Fehintola travelled to Oman in 2018 after a family friend told them about a lucrative vacancy for house help in the Islamic country.

Her brother in-law, Monday Joshua said the victim’s woman had to sell her Fehintola’s father cocoa farm to raise the over N300, 000 naira required for her travelling expensive.

He added that when she got to Oman the family was in constant touch with her through WhatsApp calls and videos and she was even sending money to her mother. But that later changed when the family couldn’t hear from her again.

Joshua said they had to connect the family friend who helped her to travel to Oman but she also was complaining that Fehintola was taking her calls.
