A tipper crushed a middle-aged female passenger on a commercial motorcycle to death at Mofor Junction, along Udu road in in Warri, Delta State.
It was gathered that that the incident occurred at about 7am on Saturday the woman was returning from a night vigil when the truck ran over the commercial motorcycle she was riding on.
According to PUNCH, eyewitnesses said the woman died on the spot while the Hausa rider escaped unharmed.
Meanwhile, the woman’s body has been evacuated and deposited in a nearby morgue.
The Acting Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, could not be reached for confirmation as of the time of filing this report, as repeated calls to his line rang out.
