Bandits have kidnapped two Chinese workers at the Zungeru Hydro Power Dam project in Niger State.
The secretary to Niger State Government, Alhaji Ahmed Matane, who confirmed this to newsmen in Minna, the state capital said two security guards were killed during the abduction.
He said details would be made available later.
WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that just last many persons were feared dead and others injured after suspected bandits attacked a mosque in Ba’are village, Mashegu Local Government Area of Niger State.
The assailants reportedly struck when villagers were performing their early morning prayers.
