Former aviation minister and ardent supporter of Bola Tinubu’s campaign for president of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Femi Fani-Kayode, claims that Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, has destroyed the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
This was stated by the human rights lawyer in response to Wike’s recent outburst against Atiku Abubakar, the PDP presidential candidate, in a post on his social media accounts.
In a conversation with a few select journalists on Friday in Port Harcourt, Wike vowed to stand firm in his demand that PDP National Chairman Iyorchia Ayu resign, which is currently endangering the party’s unity.
Reacting, FFK said the current crisis in the PDP would pave the way for the former Lagos Governor, Tinubu to win the 2023 presidential poll.
He wrote, “Wike has destroyed PDP. He said Atiku is dishonest, unreliable, untrustworthy, and deceitful. He said Ayu is a corrupt, arrogant, racist, power-hungry, anti-southern bigot.
“He said PDP wants to turn Southerners into slaves. He has smashed their balls. ABAT is our next President!”
