Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike hosted a crucial meeting of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors on Sunday.
During the PDP national convention, they primarily served as the governors who coordinated his presidential campaign.
In Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the meeting took place behind closed doors at the Rivers State Governor’s Lodge.
According to Channels Television, even though the meeting’s agenda was unclear, it might centre on the developments following the party’s national convention in Abuja.
At the meeting were Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State, and Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State.
Others were Donald Duke, Gabriel Suswam, Olusegun Mimiko, Seriake Dickson, Ibrahim Idris, and Jonah Jang.
