Afrobeats sensation Davido made his presence felt as he hopped on his Instagram page to honor the memory of his departed son, Ifeanyi, whose tragic passing occurred a year ago today.

The three-year-old toddler reportedly drowned in a pool at the singer’s Banana Island residence on Monday, October 31, 2022.

In a sizzling tribute on his Instagram story, Davido, on October 31, 2024 shared a mourning emoji, keeping the memory of his beloved son alive.

Davido’s post lit a fire of emotions and got people on social media taking a walk down memory lane, mourning and sending their prayers for young Ifeanyi’s soul to rest in peace.

Some marked October 31 as the worst day ever, others couldn’t believe how the sands of time have slipped through their fingers, realizing it’s been a whole year already.

Many found comfort in the fact that Davido and his wife received a double blessing from the heavens as a silver lining to the loss of Ifeanyi.

The singer said it all happened in the same month of October when he lost his son Ifeanyi in 2022He expressed joy that he also gave birth to twins in October 2023.
