In a recent video capturing Kanayo, a seasoned Nollywood stalwart and esteemed Igbo personality renowned for his strict adherence to tradition, drove home the importance of showing proper deference to elders. Kanayo casually rebuffed OGB's handshake, insisting instead on a respectful bow.


Renowned veteran actor Kanayo O Kanayo recently met up with the dynamic content creator Michael Charles, aka OGB Recent, in an engaging encounter that set social media abuzz with their  interaction captured in a trending new video.

OGB Recent strides up to Kanayo on the movie set, his hand outstretched for a shake, only to find Kanayo unresponsive. Kanayo subtly guided OGB Recent’s head downward, stylishly demanded a respectful bow in greeting.

Unfazed by the unexpected gesture, OGB Recent proceeds to surprise Kanayo with a thoughtful gift—a refreshing drink—which the seasoned actor graciously accepts.

Touched by the gesture, Kanayo offers heartfelt prayers and showers effusive praise upon the skitmaker.

Meanwhile, Kanayo O Kanayo aka Nnayi Sacrifice, recently reacted to the death of his colleague and friend, Amaechi Muonagor.

WITHIN NIGERIA recalls reporting that news of Amaechi’s death surfaced on social media on Sunday, March 24, as fans penned tributes to the veteran actor, famed for his role in the hit movie Aki and Pawpaw.

Kanayo took to his social media timeline on Monday, March 25, to recall his moments with Amaechi on movie sets.

Reminiscing their time together, Kanayo shared how he often expressed fear whenever the deceased performed an acrobatic somersault despite his age and size. Kanayo, who prayed for the deceased, revealed there was no dull moment when the deceased was on set.

Sharing a picture of his colleague, Kanayo wrote in a caption:

AGUIYI, I was always afraid whenever you did your acrobatic somersault. It was indeed outstanding despite your weight. You would always say. Nwokem, o taa, meaning, you grew up doing it.”
