That's why Emeka Rollas, Patience Ozokwo, Hanks Anuku, and others sought refuge in the Almighty, flocking to Pastor Jerry's Sunday service to plead for a heavenly intervention in the wake of some jaw-dropping deaths that shook Nollywood to its core - Junior Pope, Mr. Ibu, and others. After all, the omnipotent and the King of Kings upstairs holds the keys to the mysteries that leave us stumped!


In an effort to intercede for the Nigerian movie industry, the national president, Emeka Rollas and members of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) recently congregated at the last and special Sunday service led by Pastor Jerry Eze, the visionary founder of Streams of Joy International Church.

The guild assembled at the church to conclude a four-day period of fasting and prayer dedicated to mourning the recent losses experienced within Nollywood.

Led by Pastor Jerry Eze, the fasting and prayer began on May 2 and ended on May 5.

In videos circulating widely, Pastor Jerry summoning Emeka Rollas, Patience Ozokwo, Hanks Anuku, Zack Orji, Anita Joseph, Ify Okeke, Benedict Johnson, Real Warri Pikin, Steve Eboh, and numerous other Nollywood figures to join him at the pulpit during a prayer and deliverance session, eliciting cheers from the congregation.

Emeka Rollas stood alongside Patience Ozokwo at the pulpit, addressing the gathered congregation.

He extended heartfelt thanks to Pastor Jerry Eze for graciously hosting them and for fervently praying for the movie industry, attributing all honor and glory to God.

In her remarks, Patience Ozokwo emphasized the critical need for movie stars to deepen their spiritual connection with God, especially in the wake of recent losses within Nollywood.

She warmly thanked the church and its members for their warm reception and support during this important time of prayer and reflection.

Emeka Rollas, the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), underscored the importance of these prayers in an Instagram post, emphasizing their necessity to avert further tragedies in Nollywood.

He referenced the recent passing of actors Mr Ibu and Amaeachi Muonagor, who battled illness, as well as Junior Pope, who tragically died in a boat accident.
