Pastor Adeboye’s son, Leke goes against mother’s 73rd birthday wish

Pastor Leke Adeboye, the last son of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has revealed how he went against his mother, Pastor Folu Adeboye’s 73rd birthday wish.

Leke disclosed that his mother, Pastor Folu didn’t want to celebrate her birthday this year but his late elder brother, Pastor Dare won’t allow it.

WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that Pastor Dare Adeboye, who was 42-year-old passed on May 6 in his sleep in Eket, Akwa Ibom state, where he was based with his family.

Leke, who is the Senior Personal Assistant to his father, Pastor Adeboye, in a video on his Instagram page showed his mother dancing at a little gathering he organised for her.

He captioned it: “Yes you don’t want any birthday celebration but my gee PDee won’t allow me to fall our hands.. so I’m doing it,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, Pastor Adeboye, in his birthday message to his wife of 54-years, tweeted, “Happy Birthday @PastorFAAdeboye. Your support over the years showed that God was really mindful of me when he created you. God bless you sweetheart and you will live many more years as long as Jesus tarries by his grace. I love you!
