Man Utd take decision on sacking Solskjaer after 4-2 defeat to Leicester

Solskjaer

Despite a 4-2 loss to Leicester City on Saturday, Manchester United will keep Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as manager.

According to The Athletic, “Solskjaer’s position is 100% secured as things stand”.

It is understood the 48-year-old retains the support of United’s board.

Solskjaer has just recently signed a new deal that will keep him at the club until 2024, with an option for one more year.

United, on the other hand, has had a shaky start to the season. If Liverpool defeats them at Old Trafford next week, they will be seven points ahead of their opponents.

So far, United have lost two of their eight league games and won half of them.

They currently sit in fifth place with 14 points.
