Northern Irish club appoint Nigerian new head coach

Donald Malomo-Paris has been named the new head coach of Larne FC, a club in Northern Ireland.

Nigerian Malomo-Paris holds a UEFA Pro Licence.

The tactician previously worked for the Nigeria National League (NNL), though he is not well known there.

He also has a wealth of coaching experience which includes roles domestically at the Irish FA, TW Braga, Lisburn Distillery and Glenavon.

“We are excited to announce Donald Malomo-Paris as the Head Coach of our women’s first team, with the appointment coming as part of a wider restructure of the senior coaching team,” the club said via a statement on Thursday night.

Larne FC will begin their campaign against Sion Swifts Ladies at the Melvin Sports Complex on Sunday, April 23
