Abuja: Gunmen release abducted musician, band members

Juju musician, Omoba De Jombo Beats and his band members have regained there freedom four days after they were kidnapped.

They were kidnapped over the weekend on their way to perform in Kogi from Abuja where they had just finished performing.

They were said to have been released after paying millions in ransom and a video of them was taken shortly after.

The men looked really battered, as they were all seen limping when they alighted from the bus.

Their uniform (ankara) had stains all over. The men were seen bowing to thank God after regaining freedom.

The federal capital territory has been a playground for kidnappers in recent months with the daredevil criminals going deep into the city centre and suburbs to abduct residents of the city.

The government has not done enough to check this menace as the criminals continue to operate at will, forcing people to leave in fear.
