It was indeed a great week for the people of Osun state as the Pastor Mathew Asimolowo of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) hosted guests at the opening of the Kings University in Ode Omu.
The event brought top dignitaries with sons and daughters of the state under one umbrella to celebrate the achievement of the man of God.
After applying to the Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC) for a licence to operate, KICC University will start off with six faculties and 22 departments, with the school built over a sprawling 500 acre site.
Among the departments that will be in the university are the Schools of Medical Science and Pharmacy in the College of Medical Sciences. There will also be a Faculty of Law and a School of Humanities, Management & Social Sciences, as well as a School of Information Science and Technology.
The event had the likes of Governor of Osun state, Ooni of Ife, K1 De Ultimate and many others in attendance.
