Khloé Kardashian Apologises for Calling Her Sister Kourtney a “Retard”

Khloé Kardashian has apologised for throwing the R word around during a chat with her older, Kourtney.

In the now-deleted video shared on her Instagram, the mum of one daughter is seen telling Kourtney, who was struggling to figure out how to start the live session: “Yes, you can, you fucking retard.”

She used the R word repeatedly and many people found that offensive because the word had overtime become a pejorative used to refer to people with mental disabilities.

So, folks roasted Khloé on social media.

“People like Khloé Kardashian make me sick. Throwing the ‘R’ word around casually is a sick thing. Wish we cared about this word as much as other offensive words,” said one Twitter user.

Another directly tweeted at Khloé, saying: “I was watching your livestream on Instagram until you said the “r” word. You should pay more attention to your word choices especially since you have a huge following&don’t know who you could be offending. If True had a disability you would use a different word.”

And the reality star responded to the backlash, saying she never meant to offend anyone. “Ugh I hate that word! Why did I even say that? You are a million percent right and I actually greatly dislike when people use that word! I will do better! I am sorry!”
