Cristiano Ronaldo finally broke his Juventus goal drought – but his brace was overshadowed by teammate Douglas Costa’s spitting storm.

Winger Costa lost his head with Sassuolo’s Federico Di Francesco – as the Serie A minnows bagged a late consolation at Allianz Stadium.

The Brazil international made a rash tackle on Italy Under 21 man Di Francesco before aiming a head butt and the spitting in his rival’s MOUTH.

Di Francesco reacted calmly to the disgusting act before the referee showed Costa a red card – after going through VAR.
