Oba Saheed Elegushi of Ikateland married a second wife at a lavish ceremony in Kano state.
The monarch who is regarded as one of the richest, finest and youngest royal fathers reigns over the vast Ikateland in Lagos Island and married Hadiza Tanko as his second wife.
According to reports, Hadiza Tanko, is the younger sister to Salihu Tanko Yakasai, the Special Adviser to the Kano State Governor, Alhaji Dr Umaru Ganduje.
The new Queen is reportedly a ‘Business Development Manager’ at an oil and gas firm.
Salihu Tanko Yakasai who shared photos from the wedding ceremony of the Lagos monarch tweeted;
Happy married life to my amazing sister, a young entrepreneur & business mogul, new Queen of Elegushi Royal Family, Ikateland, my last sibling to be married out of 23, Olori Hadiza Tanko Yakasai. May urs be among the blessed ones. Thanks to all those who made it to the wedding.
Oba Saheed’s 1st wife is the super stylish and gorgeous “Olori Sekinat Aramide Elegushi nee Ipaye. They have been reportedly married for 16 years and blessed with 3 beautiful daughters.
The Oba is reported to be taking the second wife according to tradition which allows a king to marry as many wives as possible.
