Anambra State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency(NDLEA) has arrested a notorious drug peddler in Akwa, in Anambra state.
The man, identified as Chimezie Okoye, was arrested at Ifite Awka area of the state capital.
This was revealed by the Public Relations Officer of the Anambra State command of the agency, Odigie Charles Efosa.
Odigie said, “He was popularly known as Don, and operates within the “5” decking area in Ifite Awka.
“Okoye Chimezie A.K.A Don was arrested with 6.5 grammes of methamphetamine and 3.3 kg of Cannabis Sativa (Skunk) at his God of grace lodge “5” decking in Awka on Saturday 25th May, 2019.”
He assured that the suspect would be charged to court for prosecution, to serve as a deterrent to other drug dealers in the town.
