Tragedy struck in Ijanikin area of Lagos state as a 35-year-old man commits suicide by drinking sniper
The deceased body was lying inside a bush beside the bridge ar Adio bus stop area of Ijanikin before men of Ijanikin Police Station were notified through a distress call.
A team of homicide detectives led by the Divisional Police Officer visited the scene where a plastic bottle of sniper suspected to have been taken by the deceased was found beside him.
According to the Police, photographs were taken and the corpse was removed and deposited at Mainland General Hospital Yaba Lagos for autopsy.
Investigation into the incident is ongoing.
