An attempt to snatch a Peugeot 307 salon car by a syndicate at Mosalachi Area, along Lagos/Badagry expressway has been thwarted by men of the Anti Crime Patrol Team from Satellite Police Station in Lagos state.
This was contained in statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer of the state, Bala Elkana where it was also confirmed that one Francis Abubakar who is the ring leader of the gang was arrested.
One locally made shotgun was recovered from the suspect. Also recovered from the suspect is a Peugeot 307 which has since been handed over to the owner.
Bala says the police is on the trail of the other suspects.
