It was earlier reported that the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) popularly known as Shiite, Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky and his wife, Zeenat, around 6:45 pm on Monday left the country to India for medical check-up aboard Emirate flight.
The sheikh was later spotted wearing a nose mask on a first-class seat aboard the Emirates aircraft conveying him to India.

Meanwhile, officials of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) and Department of State Services (DSS) will be traveling with the IMN leader to fulfill one of the conditions of the medical leave granted by a high court in Kaduna.
The court had ruled that the IMN leader, who has been in detention since 2015, must return after his discharge from the hospital to face his charges.
