A final year student of the Tai Solarin University of Education located in Ogun State, committed suicide on Monday August 19.
It was gathered that the deceased identified as Ogunbanwo Emmanuel hanged himself allegedly over his carryovers. The carryovers reportedly stopped him from participating in a teaching practice with his mates.
A friend of the late final year student wrote;
It’s a pity that we lost a loving friend like you. RIP Ogunbanwo Emmanuel. Even if you have 10 carry over, committing suicide isn’t the solution. You left like a coward, instead of you to stand and fight to the end. I and others are gonna miss you. Love you bro, love you Emmanuel.
