Four officers of the Rapid Response Squad, Lagos state police command, have been arrested for extorting N5000 from a female morotist in the Ajah area of Lagos state.
The officers identified as Sgt Ogah Jimmy, Inspt. Kadir Ganiyu, Inspt. Simon Ogwuyi and Spy Akinwumi James, were arrested after the N5000 received was traced to the account of Sgt. Jimmy.
According to the verified Twitter handle of RRS, the officers are currently being detained and will be transferred to the headquarters for trial on Monday September 30th.

In other news, a couple and four others have been apprehended by the Imo state police command for stealing and selling two siblings for N900,000.
One of the stolen children, Promise Opunwa 2 has been recovered by the Police while his elder sister, Oluma 4 was still missing as disclosed by the Police commissioner in the state, Rabiu Ladodo.
