Hours after reports of a magistrate court ordering the police to arrest and arraign the coroner of “Am I a yahoo boy” with immediate effect went viral, the popular hip-hop artiste, Naira Marley has reacted to the car theft allegation leveled against him.
WITHIN NIGERIA had earlier reported that a Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos on Monday ordered that Nigerian musician, Adeyemi Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley should be arrested and arraigned over alleged car theft.
According to the reports, Marley was alleged to have conspired with two of his brothers and cousin to allegedly steal the car of someone they hit while driving around Lagos.
Marley took to his Twitter handle to react to the allegation. He wrote
”Car theft?? maybe I need to post my bentley, Porsche or benzo. If u lot like try stain my name from today till tomorrow I will still be the next president and who’s adeyemi fashola aka Naira Marley. Another free promo I’m guessing”.
