Unknown gunmen have kidnapped Jibrin Giza, the permanent secretary, Ministry of Works in Nasarawa State.
Jibrin was abducted in the early hours of today Sunday February 16th.
Reacting to the incident, the state commissioner of Police, Bola Longe confirmed the incident.
Longe disclosed that Giza was abducted by gunmen from his residence at Shabu, a suburb of Lafia at about 12:40 a.m., to an unknown destination.
His family members say no word has been heard from his abductors.
The police boss added that the DPO in the area had already mobilised some officers and men who are on the trail of the fleeing abductors and their victims.
