We published a story titled “Man Strips Naked, Runs Amok After Son Dies At Hospital In Imo” and erroneously published alongside a photograph that is not the victim in the said story.
This particular story was shared on our Facebook and other social media on 22nd February, 2019.
We retract the wrong photograph that was used in place of the victim, Mr. Nwabueze Nwadike. We have also pulled it down from our site and social media pages.
We sincerely apologise to Mr. Gwamnishu Emefiena Harrison whose image appeared in the wrong photograph for all forms of damages and embarrassment caused by the pictorial misrepresentation of the publication.
Mr. Gwamnishu and his family who are hale and healthy, are in no way connected to the tragic incident that happened in Medical Centre (FMC), Owerri. As a news site, we regret the misrepresentation which does not in any way defines the purpose, vision nor translates our mission.
We equally know the damages and embarrassment it has possibly caused and we wish that you know how regrettable it is for us that such could happen from us.
