Earlier this week, the Lagos and Ogun State Government issued a directive banning gatherings exceeding 50 persons as a precautionary measure to contain the spread of the dreaded coronavirus COVID-19.

In line with that, the Living Faith Church, popularly known as Winners’ Chapel, has instructed each of its provinces to create more cells in members’ houses.

According to reports, a source close to the church’s leadership, who did not want to be named, told newsmen on Friday that each province is to create more cells in members’ houses in such a way that each zone will not have less than 10 cells to take care of gatherings to avoid more than 50 members gathering in the cells, zonal and provincial centres.

“Arrangement is to be put in place to have able ministers to man the cells and report appropriately and timely,” the source said, adding that the church’s closed zones will also be put to use.
