No fewer than 100 hand sanitizers have been donated by a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) identified as Akintunde Ahmed to dwellers of Ogun community at Ake Titun CDA, Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun state.
According to the graduate of The Federal Polytechnics Ilaro, the gesture was to assist in containing the spread of COVID-19 pandemic in Ogun and Nigeria.
Following the outbreak of Coronavirus in Nigeria, politicians, NGos and philanthropists have started distributing hand sanitizers and relief materials to the vulnerable ones especially the aged and disabled.
Hand sanitizer is a liquid or gel generally used to decrease infectious agents on the hands. They are available as liquids, gels and foams.
