Man, son rushed to hospital after wife reportedly die during 2 months dry fasting in Sapele

Woman Dies After Embarking On 2 Months Dry Fasting In Sapele

A Nigerian woman has reportedly died after embarking on 2 months dry fasting in Sapele area of Delta state.

According to journalist Sapele Oghenek, the sad incident happened at MTN Road, Okirigwhere. It was gathered that the woman, her husband, son and a friend locked themselves inside the house for the 2 months in order to complete the fasting.

He added that the family had been drinking water for the past two months and this has left them lean. It was also discovered that it was the friend who visited them that convinced the family to embark on the dry fasting.

The little boy of the late woman whose picture is attached to the story was fat before, but because of the fasting, he is now very lean. It was also found out that the visitor had been throwing away food given to the family by concerned neighbours.

Sapele Oghenek wrote:

“CHRISTIANITY NOR BE STUPIDITY

“* One Family for Sapele here for MTN Road, Okirigwhere embarked on 2 Months Dry Fasting and the wife die during the process*

“A family of Husband, Wife, Son and Friend wey lock themselves for inside house for about 2 months, na today nai neighbours just dey discover say one of dem (the wife) don die. The pikin don lean like broom as e say na so so water dem dey drink for about 2 months now. The friend wey dey house with dem for since December say dem dey fast. This issue happen today for No 15, G-Class House, MTN Road, Okirigwhere, Sapele.

“Dem don carry those wey survive go Warri as ambulance carry the dead body of the wife go Central Hospital for Warri.

“Mainwhile, for the video wey we upload so, the lean woman wey dey waka go for the gate nai be the so called friend wey con follow the family stay and people dey suspect say na witch because neighbours say dem dey give dem food but she go troway am dey tell d boy make he nor eat.
