Tragedy as cultists brutally hacked to death a young man identified as Tega in Sapele, Delta state on Thursday.
WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the supremacy battle started when a cult leader demanded cash from a rival cult member in what they referred to as ‘protection money.
It was further learnt that when the rival cult member refused to pay, the cult leader was badly bruised which angered members of his cult group who reportedly attacked in retaliation.
According to reports, the deceased was chased from the New Road area of the town to Irato Road before they finally caught up with him and attacked him.

In a related story, WITHIN NIGERIA reported that a yet-to-be identified young man has been reportedly shot dead by suspected cultists while another man was left with a gunshot wound on Saturday, in Owhase community, Udu council area of Delta state.
