It was a day like no other for Ekwulobia residents as they trooped out in thousands, to drink to stupor after a trailer of beer fell, yesterday, in Anambra State.
The trailer conveying the crates of beer fell and crashed to the ground in Ekwukobia, Anambra state.
The incident which led to lost of millions of naira, was seen as an opportunity by the residents of the community to drink as many bottles of beer as possible.
Many of the residents can be seen in the video helping themselves to the abundance of beer.

A similar case happened last year, March 2019,when a truck carrying loaded crates of beer crashed and blocked the expressway before Abak bridge in Akwa Ibom.
It was gathered that some passersby and sympathizers who gathered at the accident scene, used the opportunity to drink bottles of beer which were in the crashed vehicle while some hoodlums carted away some crates of beer.
The truck and broken bottles were eventually evacuated after the incident caused a traffic gridlock in the area.Read here
