10 members of a family test positive for Coronavirus in Kaduna

As Nigeria continues to put measures in place to curb the spread of Coronavirus, another 10 members of a family have tested positive for the novel Coronavirus in Kaduna state.

This was disclosed to newsmen by the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai.

Kaduna State Governor said, a total of 18 positive cases of Coronavirus were recorded in the state today, May 21.

”Covid-19 UPDATE: 18 new cases were recorded today, 10 of whom are family members of one case. 14 of the new cases are from Kaduna North, two from Zaria and one each from Chikun and Sabon-Gari LGAs.” he tweeted.

In a related story, WITHIN NIGERIA reported that officials of Coronavirus Taskforce have arrested an army general in Kaduna state for flouting the lockdown order issued by the state government over the Coronavirus pandemic.

This announcement was made by the state’s commissioner of justice, Aisha Dikko on Monday, May 18.

She said the army officer who was in full uniform and driving in from Abuja with three other passengers who had no face masks, was tried and convicted for not complying with the stay at home order and wearing face masks.
