Men of the Adamawa State Police Command have arrested a 30-year-old lady identified as Zainab Ja’afaru for allegedly arranging for her friend to be gang-raped in Gerio community in the state.

This was disclosed by the state Commissioner for Police, Olugbenga Adeyanju while speaking with newsmen on Wednesday, June 1.

The Police boss said Ja’afaru asked the victim to accompany her to Gerio to see a male friend. Unknown to the victim, it was an organized plan for nine men to take turns to rape her.

”On arrival, the gang leader invited his syndicate about nine and applied force on the victim and had sexual intercourse with her one after the other” Adeyanju said.
