Days after Dubai Police arrested suspected Nigerian fraudsters identified as Ramon Igbalode Abbas popularly known as Hushpuppi and Olalekan Jacon Ponle a.k.a Mr Woodberry, the duo have been extradited to the United States.

Recall that the suspected fraudsters were arrested in Dubai, United Arab Emirates over high-level fraud, money-laundering and cyber-crimes.

The extradition of the suspected fraudsters was confirmed by the Dubai Police via its official page.

Reacting on the extradition, the Director of Federal Bureau of Investigation, Christopher Wray appreciated the Dubai Police for working towards extradition of the suspected cyber criminals.

In a related story, WITHIN NIGERIA reported that Chairman/CEO of Nigerian Diaspora Commission NIDCOM, Abike Dabiri-Erewa has taken to Twitter to react to the viral video showing how social media celebrity, Hushpuppi and his alleged accomplices were busted by the Dubai police officers in an operation that was dubbed “Fox Hunt 2.”

Hushpuppi, Woodberry and eleven others were arrested for alleged 150 million dirhams (N168 billion) fraud.
