There was a violent clash between the supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the African Democratic Congress as both engaged themselves in the Yaba area of Ondo town, Ondo state on Thursday evening, August 20.
WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that several party faithfuls were injured and several cars destroyed in the clash.
It was also learnt that the incident happened few hours before the local government election in the state.
As at the time of filing this report, the cause of the fight is yet to be ascertained.
Reacting to the incident, the Ogun state police command said normalcy has been restored to the area and efforts are being made to arrest those behind the violent attacks.
