Wole Soyinka: It is best for my sanity not to talk about Buhari’s administration

Nobel Laureate and author, Prof. Wole Soyinka has stated that he does not want to talk about the  Buhari-led administration in order to protect his sanity.

This statement was made by the popular author and Nobel Laureate, Soyinka during a recent interview with Kaftan TV.

Soyinka who has never hidden his dislike for Buhari’s government said it is best for his sanity not to talk about Buhari administration.

When asked whether the new train was a plus to Buhari’s regime, he said;

“I don’t want to talk about Muhammadu Buhari’s administration. I think it is best for my sanity just to avoid that overall question. I can take bits and pieces of Nigeria’s present predicament but I think for one’s sense of balance, one must forget the existence of the Buhari administration.”

In other news, WITHIN NIGERIA reported that Nobel laureate, Wole Soyinka has declared that no one is in charge of Nigeria.

The declaration was made by the professor on Wednesday in Ibadan, Oyo state capital during the launch of his new book, ‘Chronicles of the Happiest People on Earth’.

The literature professor said the year has also been a pessimistic one for the country.
